You fancy a guy? Someone special caught your eye? No problem, but just be in the know about the Dos and the Don’ts.
Number one: don’t be ashamed about being attracted to anyone. As long as you’re both consenting, then it’s up to you. No one can tell you who you should fancy. Guilt and fear create all kinds of messed up feelings in our heads. And life is complicated enough already.
Number two: enjoy yourself. Sexual pleasure is a gift from Mother Nature, designed to stimulate love and desire between human beings. We are hard-wired to enjoy making love. Sex is the most natural, original high on the planet and... it’s actually good for you.
Number three: Protect yourself. Sex is good for you, but getting HIV isn’t. I don’t know if you’ve ever used a condom, but afterwards you get this warm, extra-satisfied feeling like: “Cool. I actually used a condom and now I don’t need to worry about anything.” It’s like a cherry on top of the awesome piece of cake you just ate.
So that’s my ABC of having a good time: feel free in your desire; enjoy sex; and look after yourself, so you can keep on enjoying it.
